This original French, Sterling Silver and hand painted enamel medal is a rare antique. Indeed it features a Sacred Heart on one side and the St Benedict Cross on the other, make it a powerful symbol of protection and devotion. The sacred heart of Jesus, is one of the most famous religious devotions to Jesus physical heart as his divine love for humanity; it is here depicted topped with flames and a cross and surrounded by a crown of thorns and divine light. A St. Benedict possesses the highest protection from evil and is known as the patron saint of Europe, around the cross you can read "Souvenir de Pelerinage au Sacre Coeur de Montmartre" in French meaning that it was a souvenir of a pilgrimage to the Sacred Heart Basilica of Montmartre in Paris.This original antiquity is carefully "up-loved" by Cynthia Ann and set in a beautiful 14K yellow gold, diamonds and rubies bezel setting that allows the medal to spin and display either side, depending on your desires.
